Disclaimer - Not real, I don't own anything, title and chapters belong to Dido. Sequel to You Said You Fell While Holding Diamonds In Your Hands. I highly suggest reading that before you start this because there are some things that won't make sense to you if you don't, and I don't like to repeat myself in fics.
Author's Note - Same deal as last time. This is the last time I'll do a double post though, the rest of the chapters are decent length for me.

Gabe’s heart speed up as Vicky-T stood up and he saw William out of the corner of his eye. He looked good, better than he did the last time Gabe had seen him. Turning his head to get a better look at his ex, he was surprised at just how good William looked; a year ago it would have made him hard. Right now, it made him hard.
Pete was obviously drunk, despite the fact that it was only eleven o’clock in the morning. He was jumping around on top of Patrick, and yelling things that well, normally, he wouldn’t have yelled. His yelling was causing Patrick to do a lot of blushing.
“Bilvy!” Pete cried, changing his topic. “Go sit by Gabe! He’s missed you!” It was Gabe’s turn to blush. But he was also kind of mad. Sure, he missed William, but, William didn’t need to know that. William had Mike to miss him now. Regardless his heart still sank when the younger man shook his head. Pete was not happy. “Go sit by him NOW.”
William, who had always been afraid of Pete when he was drunk, put up his hands, surrendering, and went to sit on by Gabe. There was an inch of empty space next to where Gabe was, and William eased himself onto it awkwardly.
“William,” Gabe said softly. He turned to face Gabe. “It’s okay. I’m not mad at you.” Gabe could feel his chest swell up as the sparkle came back to William’s eyes.
SIX
The words Bill had been waiting for finally came, and Bill didn’t know how he resisted kissing Gabe as he shifted so he could sit on Gabe’s lap.
Pete had decided that there was progress was made, so he proposed that they all go out to party. When he was told it was too early to party, Pete responded by saying that it was NEVER too early to party, and that they’d have to wait a few hours before going to a club, obviously.

Six hours later, everyone on the Honda Civic Tour (except Bill) was drunk, and at the closest bar/club that opened really early. Bill hadn’t seen Mike in a while, so he was spending most of his time with Gabe.
“You know,” Bill said, taking advantage of his ex’s drunk state. “You are prettier than you were before.” Gabe giggled. He had been dancing to an old Britney Spears song on the dance floor, but was pleasantly welcomed back to the bar by Bill.
“Bilvy!” He cried, extending his hand, “dance with me! Like, now! We have to dance!” Bill smiled and took Gabe’s hand, allowing himself to be dragged into the public eye. He was never one for parties; he liked to be the wallflower. Gabe had never let him do that when they were together, he had always said Bill was too beautiful to be glued to the wall.
At that moment Bill heard himself singing. TAI’s new single “Everything We Had” was being played at the club, Bill had no idea why, it wasn’t that big. Hearing it reminded him of the moment he wrote it, days after he and Gabe broke up, he was a mess; he was still a mess, but, better at hiding it.
Gabe pulled Bill to himself, arms wrapped completely around the younger man. He hummed into Bill’s ear; Gabe had obviously heard the song before.
“You have been followed, back to the same place I, sat with you drink for drink.” Tears were starting to fall down Bill’s face. Gabe was singing, he was singing to him. He pulled away from Gabe and stared into the older man’s eyes.
“I love you.”
Gabe’s lips were on his faster than Bill could have anticipated. His tongue was sliding into Bill’s mouth; he wasn’t resisting, he had been waiting for this for almost a year. He needed this.
In a matter of minutes, they were back on Fall Out Boy’s bus, ripping off each other’s clothes. Bill brought Gabe to the back lounge and pulled the older man on top of him. He could taste the alcohol on Gabe’s tongue, but he didn’t care; he’d missed Gabe so much it didn’t matter the circumstances, he just wanted to be with him.
It wasn’t traditional sex, with moans and groans. It was that rare kind where you aren’t with this person for the orgasm, you’re there to feel them pressed against you. You’re there to run your hands over their skin, so that when they’re gone, you’ll remember where everything is. The kind that, when the person penetrates you, they fit perfectly, as if you was made for them, literally. Bill had never appreciated Gabe as much as he did that night, as much as he did when he came all over his and Gabe’s stomachs. He’d never appreciated Gabe as much as he did when he curled up next to him afterwards, when he felt his past lover’s arms hold him, protecting him, loving him.
There was just one problem with Bill’s scenario: he was sober, Gabe was not.
A/N - Oh yes! Sex! But, is there trouble ahead? THE WATERS LOOK ROUGH. Okay, yeah, I'll probably see you all on Thursday, because as most of you should know Sing It Loud's CD came out today and since I live in Minnesota they're having a CD release party, which I am going to with muh friend Zoe. So we're gonna be amazing and meet Sing It Loud before they go and spend like two fucking months with Cobra Starship (lucky bastards). I have officially started counting down the days until October 16, it's like.. oh shit... um... can someone tell me?
