Title - I Know You Think That I Shouldn't Still Love You, I'll Tell You That
Author - hidexthexkey
Pairing - Gabe Saporta / William Beckett, William Beckett / Mike Carden, slight Sisky / Butcher and Ryland / Joe
Rating - PG 13
Summary - “If Pete wants me to talk to William so bad, then fine, I’ll talk to William."
Disclaimer - I own nothing, title and chapters belong to Dido (White Flag) sequel to You Said You Fell While Holding Diamonds In Your Hands, I would suggest reading that before this, because some of this shit won't make ANY sense if you haven't.
Author's Note - Okay, so two chapters this time, because the third one is so short I'd get killed for even posting it as a full chapter, it's like a drabble... 100 words maybe... that's why there's two, but that also means you have to wait until Tuesday for my next update instead of tomorrow.

THREE

When Gabe told the rest of his band what Pete told him, they were shocked that he had even accepted the offer, that he hadn’t insisted upon being placed on a different tour.

“I don’t have a choice, okay?” He said for the tenth time that night. “If Pete wants me to talk to William so bad, then fine, I’ll talk to William. I’m not saying anything will change, but I’ll talk to him.” Ryland looked at him in shock.

“Dude, you haven’t wanted to look at him for almost a year! What the fuck made you change your mind so fast?”

“Oh, I don’t know, maybe the fact that if I don’t, Pete Wentz is going to be really fucking mad?” Ryland opened his mouth as if to say “oh,” and dropped the subject.

Gabe, who was still not happy, went to go pack for the tour; for once, he had no idea what to bring. Obviously he wanted to look good when he saw William; he wanted to look like he was okay, like he’d moved on, just like William.

It took the entire week leading up to the Honda Civic Tour to be completely ready, to be sure that he would outshine William, to prove that he could live without him. But, fuck, the next few months were going to be the hardest of his life.

FOUR

“Shit, what do I wear?” Bill was freaking out. Sisky was sitting (or rather, laying) on his bunk with an annoyed look on his face. He saw no point in telling Bill it wasn’t likely he would even see Gabe, the boy was too excited, no matter how much he denied it.

“Dude, it’s fucking tour, just wear whatever you usually wear.”

“It’s different, though, Sisk, you know that.” Sisky shook his head.

“No, Beckett, it’s not different. You have someone else now, Gabe has someone else. You’re just going on tour. You’re not trying to impress him with how you’ve not moved on.”

“Is it that obvious?” Bill was scared that Mike knew. Knew that he was hung up over his ex. That he was still in love with someone he hadn’t talked to in over a year. Unfortunately, Sisky nodded. “Oh, god, Mike…" The last thing Bil wanted to do was hurt Mike.

“It’s obvious to everyone except him, but I think he’s just trying to deny it. I think he’s trying to ignore how much you love Gabe, and how much you don’t love him.” Bill shook his head; he did love Mike, just not as anything more than a friend.

“Yo, girls in there!” Butcher was calling from the front lounge. “We gotta go meet Pete and everybody else! He’s introducing some of the bands who haven’t met each other yet, and he said if anyone is missing, he’s gonna beat our asses."

***

“Bill, stop fiddling with your shirt. You look fine! Not that it really matters, anyway.” Bill hit Sisky on the arm, he always knew what not to say; then proceeded to say it anyway.

They were on their way to the Fall Out Boy bus, to “meet” the bands on the Honda Civic Tour that they hadn’t already, which wasn’t anyone, so Bill guessed Pete just wanted to hang out with everyone. That was something Bill was extremely nervous about.

TAI were the last on the bus, and it was crowded. People were sitting on other people and there was no room left on the floor. Bill couldn’t even see Gabe.

“My boys!” Pete yelled, addressing them, “Come sit!” The rest of the band, including Mike, went to their own separate areas. Sisky was on top of Butcher, who was on top of Ryland, who was trying to snuggle into Joe’s side, but finding it difficult.

Victoria, Cobra’s new keytarist, stood up and said she wanted to join the fun that was the Sisky, Butcher, Ryland, and Joe pile up. She walked stumbled over to them and sat on Joe’s lap, much to Ryland’s dismay.

Bill stood there, staring at where Victoria used to be. She had been sitting next to Gabe. Bill’s heart stopped for a few seconds when he saw him. Gabe turned to look at him, even if it was only for a second, and Bill felt a strong urge to kiss him; right there in front of everyone, even Mike.

A/N - Yeah, so three is REALLY short, so aren't you all just thrilled that I posted two? I'll probably have to do the same thing with the next two chapters because for some reason I write REALLY short Gabe chapters... strange. Well, I hope everyone's okay with my double post... that would kind of suck if you weren't, plus I'm really excited for you all to read this.
