[ Somehow, watching that dream left far too familiar visions in his own mind, and clearly he won't be getting to sleep anytime soon without thinking of, you know, his dead family. ]

Dastan. [ focuses his own face. God he hates this stupid thing. ]

[He groans. Of course someone had to be watching. He considers leaving the Dreamberry there and climb on his roof to think, but the familiar accent makes him get up from his bed and he picks up the device. There's a curt nod from the Prince, but it's easy to see that he's not in the mood for small talk]

Ezio.

[ Oh he knows that just by watching, and while he wants to question a few things, he's not going to yet. He can assume, and he really hopes he's wrong. ]

You should join me outside. [ No he's not going to say why, but you can probably assume by the look on his face. ] It would do you some good for some fresh air.

[Dastan seems to consider it for a moment. By the Gods, the other man is not making this any easier, the words so akin to what his eldest brother would have said to him. He finally sighs]

All right. Where can I find you?

[He's already moving through his room, grabbing his undershirt and boots]

[It's strange for a woman like Naomi to be left speechless, but for once she genuinely has no idea what to say. She's never been good at dealing out the usual kind of comfort people are used to.

She does wince painfully as the Dreamberry smacks against the wall though.]

[It takes a long time before there's any sounds in the room that can be recorded on the device. And when it does, it's the creaking of the floorboards as Dastan finally walks over and picks up the Dreamberry, knowing well how stupid it has been to throw it away. But he just needed to vent out some anger and frustration.

If you've waited long enough Naomi, here's the Prince looking down at you before looking away. He has no idea what to say either. He didn't really want anyone, especially not those he's close to, to see this]

[Guilt.

It isn't something she generally has to deal with often, but it's painful every single time that it comes up, even from silly dreams. Though she is keeping cool, the look in her eyes shows just how concerned she is for the man.]

Dastan?

[He shifts, clearly uncomfortable with this. He really wishes he could tell her that he's all right, but he knows well that she's not going to believe him.

After a moment, his eyes move back to the screen of his Dreamberry and he gives her a small, almost sheepish smile]

....I am sorry you had to see this, Naomi.

[Austria's not one to comment too much on the content of dreams of those he does not know well. However there's one thing mentioned that does catch Austria's attention.]

Persia? That's a country I have not heard of for some time now.

[The mention of his father's Empire in such a way, a way of someone else than him knowing about it is enough to make the Prince pick up his Dreamberry]

I would assume most do, yes. Being reluctant neighbors with Rome meant I heard of quite a few far-off nations.

[The Prince raises an eyebrow slowly]

You would assume wrong then. You are the first that seems to recognize my father's Empire.

You lived close to the Romans?

[He's fought a few times with them, mostly while protecting the borders of the Empire]

[....That voice. Crap. Crap. CRAP! One of the few persons the Prince didn't want to see this. He rushes to his Dreamberry and offers to the young girl a smile he hopes is reassuring

Princess! I...hum....I am all right. Just a little...hum....nightmare.

...If you don't mind me asking, were those your brothers?

[He shifts uncomfortably. Of all the people that called him about his dream, she is the first one to make the connection]

....Yes. Though....I know they are well and alive at home. Nightmares....often reflect what we fear the most, I suppose.
