Persia? That's a country I have not heard of for some time now.

I would assume most do, yes. Being reluctant neighbors with Rome meant I heard of quite a few far-off nations.

You would assume wrong then. You are the first that seems to recognize my father's Empire.

You lived close to the Romans?

[He's fought a few times with them, mostly while protecting the borders of the Empire]

Your father's empire? And yes, I lived near Rome as a child. It was... an interesting experience, to say the least. [Rome was loud and unsightly and ew, but his artwork was pretty. Not that babbystria would say that to the big manly Roman empire at that time, of course.]

As long as they do their conquering away from our borders, I never minded them much.

In that case, it is a pleasure, your majesty. And it is... or rather, was difficult to pay no mind to Rome, even if he was some distance from one's borders. He was rather noticeable, to say the least.

...If you insist. [It's a bit odd for him to call any royal person besides the kids of his emperors and empresses (while they're still kids of course) by their first name, but he'll go with it if that's what Dastan wants.]

Yes. Where I am from, the Roman Empire was a tall, loud man with a rather... interesting personality, to say the least.

[He bows his head respectfully. He did not truly understood Hungary's explanation about herself and the other countries and so Dastan treats them as royalty, as his equals.]

The pleasure is mine, Dastan, I assure you. And I do thank you for saying so; admittedly it is not the breed of horse I would have preferred to give her, but its coloration is close enough. [He wanted to give her a Lipizzaner horse, but those would be too hard to find here in Somarium. Not to mention they wouldn't be from the proper breeding lines.]

What other breeds have you seen in this world, if I may ask? I am looking to tame a horse for the Princess and for a friend as well.

Though I am not sure of the exact breeds, I have seen many different colors of horses. If you look around the fields in Espoir, I am sure you will find at least one that is to your liking.
