Did you watch the Session 9 dvd or was it just on somewhere? Because there's a whole other part of the movie with this old woman that... well it makes no sense, I basically tell people to watch it so they can be like me and Todd and be thankful the makers had enough sense to leave it out. *L* And y'know what, I didn't even really like that movie the first time I watched it. Weird. ::shrug::
But yes, ICON. 'Cause the cover of that and the one wheelchair bit in SH3 are waaaaaaaay too much alike to be a coincidence.

Anyway, I watched Session 9 on IFC (or was it Sundance? it was on this morning) and there's a lot of similarities to Silent Hill in itself, but it didn't capture the whole essence of the reason why the characters were in such a place due to the different plot points in the movie. SH characters tend to be drawn to SH because of a calling. Here, it's just like they work there. I also thought the killings went extremely quick in the end, which kinda felt like the entire thing ended abruptly. I like the idea behind the old man being really nutzoid, but other than that... it was an okay movie.
