but.. do you urinate a lot??...

actually the minimum requirement for a person is just 2Ls per day.

moisture of food and gravies and etc, are also water. So, its not necessary that u need to consume that much of water in a day. The body homeostasis will tell regulate the water content of the body.

Some people can't take that much water, which in the end will cause edema in their body. People with renal failure or renal problems should take caution on the amount of fluids they take. :) ..

Plus.. drink water slowly.. do not drink too fast (gulping them down) .. this is because most of them will be pass as urine.. and the body aren't able to absorb them efficiently. :)

yes, i do go washroom often.

yes, minimum is 2L but that is the minimum.

these days our food, do not seem to have sufficient water content unless you talk about soupy dishes and this makes our intake of water much lesser.

i never gulp down my water... i drink it slowly. :D

that reminds me to put a disclaimer for those who has renal failure to consult their doctors on drinking consumption.

drinking water is a good thing.. coz nowadays there is a lot of people lurves soft drinks i.e. cokes... Sigh..

however, its good to take plenty of water.. but i don't think drinking water more than 3 or even 4L is required..

u see.. going to washroom meaning ur excreting excess water from ur body. this tells u that ur body have more than enough water inside for chemical reaction. No, i'm not asking u to not drink when u wee wee a lot.. but just drink when u feel thristy.. there is no reason to push urself to drink soo much water.. like wad u stated and i've said.. body is regulated (aka homeostasis) .. wid the help of hormones.. and nerves and cells.

well.. if ur urine is very yellowish (more ammonia or urea than water.. meaning ur not drinking enough water).

Things that will make us drink more water.. excess Na (sodium aka salt) in our body.. our lips tend to feel dry.. and that we need more water to excrete them out.. :)
