Valentine's Day was one of Barney's favorite holidays, if only for the hundreds of single women desperate to prove their self-worth by finding a man to care about them. Robin had decided on a slightly less-traditional route for the whole Valentine's Day thing. Instead of getting gifts or anything like that, she had on a pair of red heels, red lace lingerie and nothing but a short silk robe and she was at Barney's door, ready to really give him a day worth remembering.

"Barney?" she called out, putting a fake-simper into her voice, as if she was no better than those floozies he did. "Barney, can you come help me, I think I broke my shoe."

He paused, chocolate still in his hand and halfway up to his mouth.

"Robin?" Barney asked as he was getting up and off the bed to the door. It almost sounded like Simon-proximity Robin, which was just hard to watch. "You broke your shoe? What did you do, melt the plastic off a croc...?"

He had opened the door and his eyebrows went up.

His mouth dropped open.

"See, I was gonna go for the whole 'I have a flat tire' thing," she said, fiddling with the belt of her robe as she pushed him with one hand back into the room, walking easily on two completely okay heels. "But now I'm here and it's Valentine's Day and I have a present for you."

"Is it a singing telegram?" He asked after a quick recovery of following her into the room and watching her ass move onto the short red silk of the robe. "Because you look just like this one Canadian popstar that was huge in the mid '90s."
