I got the keys to the new place! EEK! Excited but totally nervous as well! Will go after work tomorrow and take some pictures. Woohoo!

I went to Fort Casey on Whidbey Island this morning in the pouring down rain. It's similar to Fort Worden but it's more maintained, a bad thing if you are wanting rust and overgrown concrete structures but good on the preservation level. Also went to Fort Ebey which is a nice place but kind of disappointing on the "fort" part of things.

It's kind of cool how losing 15 pounds can make all of my pants fit! Pants that just a month ago I couldn't button. Sweet! Guess this barely eating a thing and walking/hiking/mountain biking thing is paying off.

Talked to my parents today, first time for quite a while. And for once I even told them personal things. We have never been a very open family. Always kept things to ourselves which I have always found to be annoying, but didn't want to say anything about it...see, a vicious circle! I've become addicted to The Crystal Method!

Finally figured out how to hook up my MP3 player to my car stereo and it only cost me $8.00. I had to do away with my 10 disc CD changer but I thought that it was a good trade. Just need to add music to my other MP3 player after I upgrade it for Windows Vista. Yippee!
