Fort Casey

I went to Fort Casey on Whidbey Island this morning in the pouring down rain. It's similar to Fort Worden but it's more maintained, a bad thing if you are wanting rust and overgrown concrete structures but good on the preservation level. Also went to Fort Ebey which is a nice place but kind of disappointing on the "fort" part of things.

Fort Casey! I spent many, many a happy hour there - picnic-ing, flying kites, climbing all over the fort. *sigh* It wasn't far from where I lived. I'm glad to see these pictures of it. Thanks Craig. :)
