...Huh?

So I'm gone for all of a week, and the entirety of fandom goes to ruins around me. What in hell? No, really. My internet connection went all wonky when I came home from Matt and Mello's, and in the week it took me to fix it (plus the side trip I took to Costa del Sol; I think Reno posted about it in his journal) everyone went mad ( Read more... )

Hi, Roger. What fandom are you from, then?

I'm from RENT. But I can't afford to pay it.

So that's a really bad name. :(

I... see. What sort of fandom is it, then?

Well, I don't know about all that either, but I do know that everyone should know my name, at the very least. I am James, of Team Rocket.

An organization that steals Pokemon and sells them for profit. My mission is to capture Ash Ketchum's Pikachu and any other rare Pokemon I come across.

What in Merlin's name is a Pokemon?

I think you got it all, bravo! We're still not clear on all the details, though admittedly we heard Malfoy had tits and sort of forgot about the rest of it. Bloody hilarious.

We do hope you had a fantastic trip. Now Ron needs to get his arse back here and the Weasley clan will be well on its way to taking over the internets.

Yes, I rather thought so, too. *grins* Call him Drakie-poo and watch him capslock. It's bloody fantastic.

Oh, it was, rather. *grins again* Japan is an...ah...interesting place. Especially in the company of two boys who don't actually know much more about it than I do.

And yes, he does, the great git. Let's just hope Percy keeps his poncy self away.

You...look a lot like Molly Weasley.

I'm her youngest daughter, Ginny, though for some inexplicable reason I'm actually eighteen when I think I'm supposed to be sixteen. I have long since given up trying to get logic out of anything in this place.

I've actually been told that I look like you.

Molly didn't have a daughter when I knew her. She always wanted one, though. :)

How is she, Ginny? I haven't spoken with her since-- Well. Since I died, obviously.

Does logic even exist in this place? I mean, honestly. Not that I mind, but I'm supposed to be dead.

Like...me? Why, because of the red hair?

Mothering me half to death, as usual *laughs* That's all right, though, as it's sort of her job.

And no. No, it does not. It took me approximately thirty seconds to figure that one out.

And yes, I suppose. Because of course all redheads look alike. *shrug*

Accepting confusion would, at this stage, be wise. Until a later date, at least.

Yes, it would probably be for the best, wouldn't it. *resigned sigh*

Yes. You've only just come back; it'll be easier, with time. I am having trouble with the influx myself, and I was here through it.

As for the other things, well. I have entirely no explanation, other than 'it's fandom'. It seems to be the only legitmate reason.

You are right, however, about Voldemort and Delirium. It frankly worries me, what those two would be like together at the moment.

Ah, fandom.

Delirium's actually not quite so bad once you get her to settle down for long enough to carry on a conversation. I've actually gotten her to stay on the same subject for a full seven or eight comments!
