OMG. Too fantastic for words! And Peter is begrudgingly admitting that were he born 20 years later, he would have fanboyed Roy. To which Roy is just smirking and pretending to inspect his glove. ;)

*takes a deep breath*

*sits down and leans against tree*

*pulls out book*

Hahaha.

*lets go of hand and watches him run to the shore*

*smiles*

Green Fruit House?

*puts his hands in his pockets and joins the boy at the shore*

(pauses and scrambles back, pulling Peter closer to the water)
(hesitates for a long second over the bag of bread, and holds it open to Peter with dramatic decision: TADAA!)

(frowns again)
I think that is right.

*reaches in the bag and pulls some out*

Great! What's your favorite way to feed them?

(pulls out a slice and looks at it for a second, face stilling)
(more quietly)
First we must give this bread respect. Some of it was alive. Now soon again to alive.
(crouches down at the water's edge and holds out the whole slice to a likely-looking goose)
(sighs as other geese come swarming in to fight over it, and starts tossing smaller pieces to the birds)
(Return of the Helpful Enthusiasm)
Make it to their mouths fly!

*folds his hands behind his back in respect*

*laughs at the other geese*

Yes sir!

*grabs a piece of bread and starts breaking it up into pieces*

(throws pieces of bread to the ducks, making the geese work for it)
(conversational)
My mother tell me the small birds are than the big ones more...
(frowns. Word? Word?)

Sorry, I've been out all day. n,n; How's the packing going?

*throws some bread on the ground*

*surreptitiously puts a piece in his mouth*

*around the bread*

Small birds are more...pretty than others? Aggressive? Hungry? Patient?

*big grin*

Little pitchers do have big ears.

*throws out some more for the birds*

No prob, am currently running around like stupid. Packing is going better than it was yesterday, at any rate. :p

eeee he did it! XDD (squicks out while dying of laughter) And what perfect timing; Sev and Rus are just starting to seriously discuss him. :D Would you say he's a hurt/jealous type?
The packing's been going on for quite a while--this is a serious thing, isn't it? Glad it's going more smoothly! ♥ Got good packing music?

(stares as Peter eats the bread and tries his long adjectives)
Anh...
(makes aggressive snapping-beak motions with one hand, then taps his forehead and looks wise)
And in China they also are to marry each other.

Oh great, WHAT did he just put in his mouth!? Roy is going to have a field day with this. XD Well, we have to move Saturday, so hopefully I can get it all done by then! I'm probably dicking out for now. Will reply tomorrow morning, and through the day if I'm not swamped at work like I was today. Igh.

*blushes*

Oh, sorry. I figured if it was good enough for the ducks. I hadn't eaten yet.

*tosses the handful down*

I'll give it all to them from now on.

*tilts his head*

I'm afraid I don't know much about China.

I'm sure Roy is used to being surrounded by idiots. (g) Or maniacs, anyway.
...Wow. That is major. Goodspeed!

(nods, almost sadly)
I understand. But it is not should be food for people. It is sit on, and the rest in pieces.
(too curious for own good even without the nose)
...Is it good?

In China food is more good. But, school is more strict.
(screws up his face in bleah)
But, to talk is less rules; more rules for all the time, less rules for this word not that word.

I think it's easier for him to deal with the maniacs he wants to sleep with though. *g* Thank you dear.

*shrugs as he tosses some more out*

It just tastes like bread. Nothing too delicious or anytyhing.

*grins*

China sounds interesting. How is school more strict? Is it hard learning the different kinds of letters for here?

Heh, yes. Ulterior motive does help. ;)

(turns away to feed more ducks as he nods, so Peter won't see the rueful wry he can't quite suppress)

(worried)
China is have interesting times. Red sun is set; now no one knows what we can say. Red Guard is broken, no one knows who will come stop us from say it. Maybe they don't even stand up for the teacher anymore in class, like here. Maybe say what they want.
(throws a piece of bread at a goose hard)

No, that is easy; it is the spelling.
(makes a BLAH face, and grins)
English the spelling is stupid.

*nods, listening*

Here people stand up for others all the time. I can't imagine not being able to, or not wanting too. I hope things perk up for your home soon.

*looks off over water and becomes gloomy for a moment*

Things are starting to become a little turbulent over here too...

*smiles*

But that can't be helped sometimes, yeah?

*ruffles the boy's hair*

*puts his hand in the bag and pulls out the last bit*

Oh, sorry.

*sheepishly holds his hand out*

Here, you can do the rest.

Gah, I didn't see this!

(is unable to stop himself from looking deeply, incredulously skeptical, but sighs and gives a wan smile up as Peter ruffles his hair)
Yieh. Interesting times is one cloud feels lonely, like sick for too many.

(takes the last of the bread and holds it out ceremoniously to a goose... in whose bill it turns into what looks very like an ear)
(yells in shock as the goose works to get it down, and jumps backwards, right into Peter's leg)

Sorry, I would get on Y!M, but I'm betaing this novella and I don't want to chat till I'm done. :p *giggles at poor Severus*

*small smile*

One could feel lonely, it's important to keep those you care about close.

*jumps*

Ah!

*catches the boy*

Are you alright? Bird startle you?
