Name: Narcissa (Black) Malfoy
Format: artefacts
Date: April 1974
Relevance: Potential evidence of murder of a Muggle by N. Malfoy.

Archivist's Note: Items were discovered long after the war and N. Malfoy's death. The wallet appears to be constructed of a thick type of tape commonly called Duct Tape and contains a a bus pass, a ticket for the Underground, an advertisment for a Muggle stage production called "The Rocky Horror Show", the shown patron card for the British Library under the name J. Lamb, and 12 pounds, 73 pence. Research indicates that a report was filed for a missing Muggle named Jonathon Michael Lamb on 24 April 1974. Lamb was reportedly an employee of a film processing company in the West End and aspiring actor but had apparently turned to prostitution to support himself. Five bodies were found during April that fit his description: one dead of an overdose of cocaine, one strangled, two shot, and one beaten with a heavy instrument (perhaps a lead pipe). No positive identification was made and the cases were left open, unsolved.

While there is no direct evidence that N. Malfoy was involved in this crime, her possession of the victim's wallet is compelling, particularly in light of known murderer Rodolphus Lestrange's diary entry for 13 April 1974 in which he claims to be taking N. Malfoy to Muggle London.
