And why on Earth would you want to get rid of such a magnificent work of magical art? A despisable thought.

I love that he signs his name in heiroglypics!

*blinks at her in disbelief*
Are we talking about the same ridiculously campy skull and snake?

*giggles*

*sniffs in distaste*
I would have thought, in your line of work, that magical art sometimes has nothing to do with the way things actually look. Besides, 'campy' is one of the last words I would ever use to describe it.

Personally, I agree with Bill's statement. ^.^

There is art and then there is symbol. Sometimes they overlap and sometimes they are magnificent.. I'd hardly qualify that mark on your arm as a magnificent work of art.

*giggles*

Wonderful entry!
I shan't let Gideon answer to it now, because I'll get terribly confused with all the thready we've got running between him and Bill :)

I'd love to be rid of my Mark, Weasley.

*inclines his head with a bit of a grin*
Is that so, Malfoy?
*smiles more gently at him*
And what would you be willing to do to get rid of it?

the_pureblooded March 10 2007, 22:31:58 UTC
*sighs heavily*

Just about anything. Go ahead and rub it in if you like. Get it over with.

*shakes his head*
I'll not rub anything in, Draco. There's just nothing you can do, that we found, to get rid of it, short of YouKnowWho dying. Completely. We even suspect that removal of your arm wouldn't work. You'd have phantom pains from the missing limb as well as linger magic in you that would still respond to the summons.

*pats Bill on the back, grinning*

Your trip to Cairo agrees with you, Billy boy.

*ears turn a bit pink at the nickname*
Yes, well it was easier for me to beg off work for a couple of days than try to get them to come here just to bring books and such. They will come during the spring, I think.
*runs a hand through his long hair*
Plus I'm in the process of moving house again.

*knows that the nickname turns Bill's ears pink; it's why he uses it*

And well deserved time off. I hope you made the time to relax? You were looking a bit pekid.

Moving? Yes, I suppose you'll be needing more space. Moving's a bitch, even with magic. Let me know if you require a hand. I'd like to hear all about your new friends.

Was I? Godric forbid. There wasn't much time for relaxation but I enjoyed myself anyway. They- well, I lived with them when I was in Egypt.

*grins*
I pack light and bought a furnished flat. Mainly just have books to move and- well, *sheepishly* I'm hoping Fleur might move in with me at some point.

You're always so busy with research nowadays, Billy Goat. It's a wonder you reply to my owls when I get the chance to send them.

What're you working on now?

*chuckles and ruffles her hair*
You come before any research, Runt. You know that.

*runs a hand thorugh his hair*
That blasted Dark Mark. I've got Mesi and Mbizi helping too.

*ducks under his hand with a squeak as he musses her hair, smoothing it back in place when she escapes*
*flashes a smirk at him*
I should hope so. I'm much more fascinating than books.

*grimaces*
Or Dark Marks, mind you. What is it that you need to know?

*laughs at her squeak*
More fascinating than most books anyway. *winks at her*

*shrugs*
How it works. How we can replicate or alter it. *pauses* How we could reverse it.
