*shrugs* As you know, wizards can't pick the form they get. But I'm glad it wasn't something impractical like a fish or a particularly large, lumbering animal. That would've been useless.

I've been trying on and off since the summer. Thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to be able to change forms if I got in a pinch. Always good to keep my options open, yeah?
A few months, I guess. I had a bit of a jolt at the end. The books I read said that sometimes stress can nudge you the rest of the way. I've been practicing since the summer.
