A few months, I guess. I had a bit of a jolt at the end. The books I read said that sometimes stress can nudge you the rest of the way. I've been practicing since the summer.
*arches one eyebrow* A few months? There must be an animagus gene running in the family, yes? *curious* How did you feel about your animagus form at first?
It's possible. Maybe there was a Patronus gene running in the family, too. *grins* Although if that's easily passed down, I have to wonder about me in potions...
Hm. Well, I'd hoped it would be a bird or something that could fly. I think I'd sort of hoped for a falcon, though, or a bigger bird, but it's better this way. Easier to blend in, a smaller target and all of that.
*laughs* That would make for quite the picture, Potter! Every ornithologically inclined person in the country would be hard upon your heels, er, tail feathers.
*laughs*
Potter, you're positively adorable!

I like to think so.

Thanks! ;)

The potions gene must be recessive, a hopeless case.
Easier to get fed, too. I don't imagine there'd be a whole lot of old ladies who'd try to feed a falcon, never mind they don't eat bread.

There is such a thing as tying it in a knot around your neck, you know.
