The community will open Monday for regular posting. For now, I think its a good idea for us all to get the feel of our characters, and get to know each other a little.
Log in as your character journal and put your character's name in the subject line of a comment to this post. That subject line will help us find each other to start interacting. Answer the questions for your character in the text area of that comment. Once you're done, stop and reply in character to another player's comment with additional questions your character may have of theirs. Start dialogues. Chat, flirt, argue, threaten, fight. Have fun!
Questions should be "in character" but in a meta environment. This is much more easily picked up through doing than explaining. (That isn't a dodge, I swear!) Basically, just dive right in and you'll get the hang of it. Don't worry about how old your character is, or whether they know the other character, or anything like that. Just focus on who your character is. You really can't make a mistake.
Any non-character discussion should be conducted in small text because some characters may refuse to answer certain questions themselves, regardless of their puppet mistress' wishes.
Copy and paste this into the body of your comment and answer the questions as best you can:
1. What is your character's birthdate?
2. Does your character die in one of the wars? If so, when and how? (Please keep this simple for now; it should not be long or detailed.)
3. Where did your character go to school? If Hogwarts, what house was s/he in?
4. What is your character's favorite color?
5. What is one other random thing widely known about your character?
