Don't you go making me wibble like that! And if I'm allowed to say such a thing about Bella, I think that her oath to protect him is absolutely adorable. :) *loves*

*sternly*
I can look after myself, cousin Bella. And Aunt will scold you if you make your feet dirty like that.

*quietly, with a small smile*
But do you really mean what you said?

Bella does tend to get a bit carried away when she really cares. I imagine she was little better as a teenager than she was as an adult. *loves back*

I don't care if they scold me. I shall come and stand outside your window, and call for you until you come.

*she gives a quick, bright smile*
Every word of it.

I'm sorry they were so horrid.

*stubbornly*
I wouldn't go with you until you put some shoes on. You'd look like an urchin.

*sly glance*
Even the part about climbing trees?

*mouth turns down*
I'm sure they didn't mean to. It was probably brother's new friends. I bet they made him do it.

And I wouldn't put any shoes on until you came with me.

*her lips twitch, but she nods seriously*
Especially that part. We could build a treehouse.

*she rolls her eyes and shrugs*
Whatever you say. And I'm sure the doxies had Narcissa under Imperius. Just come back. Or I shall dance with all manner of smelly, unpleasant boys at the Ball simply to spite you.

Lovely. How dare Bella make Sirius *nearly* feel guilty about abusing his younger brother. That's older brother's perogative! *giggles*

He's being a horrible infant about the whole thing. We were playing a game and I'm not sure Regulus understood the rules. The whining has been almost deafening.

Bella is really quite awful as a teenager, very dramatic and overblown - so it makes sense that she would see this as a Very Serious Matter indeed. *g*

You shouldn't have been playing a game if the rules weren't properly understood by all. And I'm not sure our parents would approve of games were people are hexed and stuffed into boxes. I certainly don't.

*giggling* Fabulous. Dramatic and overblown, it is! :D *adores*

*rolls his eyes*
It's not my fault if he's not clever enough to understand things when I explain them. I asked him if he understood and he said 'yes'. I can't do anything more than that. *imperious look* And who are you to say what sort of games I should be playing with my own brother?

*loves back*

Regulus is very clever for his age. Are you sure you explained clearly?
*draws herself up to her full height, which just matches Sirius's*
I am your eldest cousin, which clearly puts me in charge of you when our parents aren't present.

My daddy always told me one should not swear on their ever-living soul, you know?

Why did he say that? Perhaps he just didn't trust people to keep their promises. When I swear a thing I mean it - so there is no risk to my soul.

Nonono! My daddy says it might mislead people. Because people think their souls are ever-living, but daddy says they're not.
Father says I have to believe in everything and do everything he says, but how can that be? How can a soul be not ever-living?

Well your father's a fool. What about ghosts? Their soul has clearly outlived the body.
