Summary: Prussia delivers a drunk Austria to Hungary.

Staffer's Review: As one commenter succinctly put it, "You just know that when a fic starts with a drunken national anthem, it has got to be good." While this story appears to be incomplete, what is there is a joy to read. Hungary is the right combination of wife and yaoi fangirl, while Prussia is wonderfully blunt and brash. However, Austria - drunk and uninhibited for once - utterly steals the show. If only our favorite aristocrat went out to the bar with Prussia more often.

Staffer's Review: If you're a sucker for fluff, this fill won't disappoint. This collection of ten 100-word drabbles shows the cuteness of the Germany/North Italy relationship from Germany's perspective. The writer manages to create adorable situations while still maintaining Germany's reserved character. And if the wonderful writing style was not enough of a treat, the author also references Spaghetti Trees!

Summary: Once a century, they come together and remember what they are.

Staffer's Review: A hauntingly beautiful rendition of nations both remembering the past and those they've lost to time and celebrating life at present, at peace with each other even for just one day. The fic kind of reminds us of how otherworldly nations are.

Staffer's Review: It's quite odd to think there's an end to a nation's life. With a ton of things having happened to them throughout the centuries, it makes us wonder what they think about their existences in the long run. This fill is a gorgeous sweep of everyone's resolutions given their final years living as a human.

Summary: It's never easy and it isn't like there's love between them. Just a confusion of frustration and lust and guilt and more and, god, la petit mort is great.

Staffer's Review: A sensual and erotic fill that shows a cynical side to America during the 1920s and France as jaded and seductive as ever. Very striking imagery, memorable dialogue and historically fitting characterization lend an extra depth to these two characters and their strange relationship.

Summary: Poland knows the urge is wrong but even nations can only resist temptation for so long.

Staffer's Review: This fill manages to be both sensual and guilt ridden. There is a strong use of biblical references that clearly demonstrate the author's high skill level.
