Original Request: I want to see a nation taking over their own country. It doesn't matter how, if he campaigns for office through a false identity or reveals himself as the anthropomorphic personification and builds the campaign on that. Or even if he come to power through a coup.
Bonus for the country being either Russia (which would be really, really scary) or any of the Scandinavian countries (which would be less scary but very strange).
Summary: Sick and tired of political parties, America takes matters into his own hands and runs for president.
