Original Request: France deeply loves Seychelles and treats her like his little princess, but continues to treat her like his daughter and refuses to let their relationship move beyond the platonic level. It's not that he doesn't desire her (quite the opposite!) but Seychelles reminds him in some ways of Jeanne, and since he never got intimate with her before her death, he stops himself from taking things to the next level with Seychelles too. Basically, he's trying to recreate his relationship with Jeanne before her death with Seychelles.
However, as Seychelles gets older, she starts to fall in love and want more from France. He tries to lightly brush her advances off, but when she gets more forceful he says something pretty harsh to try to make her stop, and ends up making her think he doesn't love her anymore. A very hurt Seychelles decides to put some space between herself and France...and France finally comes to realize that he loves Seychelles as she is, not just as a replacement for Jeanne, and tries to get her back before he loses her forever.
Bonus: Seychelles starts dating another country after leaving France to try to get back at him for rejecting her so harshly.
