Goodness me, I am so late. So to stay on schedule and work things out more!

This week's prompt, gossip, has been extended for one week! This means voting will open next Saturday, on the 23rd of January.

Okay, fair enough.

Although, I couldn't help but notice that the contest is growing a little...stagnated? I was wondering if there would be any way to reboot participation?

Like, what about a SUPER contest, if you will? Something that could span 2 weeks-1 month and have some sort of prize? I'm sure there are some decent fanartists that would be willing to draw a scene from the winning story, like they did on Brigit's Flame a little while ago. And it would be an excuse to bring attention back to the comm. Also, maybe have a separate drabble competition and one shot? Also, it would be treated the same as a regular contest, where everyone votes in increments of 3, 2, and 1. Do you think something like that would be doable?

Oh, yes, I've been meaning to try to reboot participation but never did quite think of a way -- as such, your suggestion is very welcomed! In fact, I believe something like what you've said is what this community might need. Once things settle for me offline, I'll definitely try to get an event like this going on, for both the present members and the prospective ones.
