I've seen these over at DA. :D

Now that you've asked about Hungary & Ukraine, the shading is a bit off. It's not so bad on Ukraine as it's pink, but the orange-red on Hungary looks way off. What I would do next time is once you have base skin tone, go down about 2 shades & use that. That's what I do when I soft shade. That's what it looks like you did on Lichtenstein & I like that look a lot. :D

I think I worked out what happened with the shading. I just tilted my laptop screen slightly further back than usual and wow it was bright so I think the brightness of it depends on what angle people have their screens at and general screen brightness settings, from now on I will be more careful how my screen is.
I've done it before where I thought I colouring something really brightly or really dark and I moved the screen forward and it looked really pale so I had to start again :p It's the one thing that annoys me with digital art.

Also, thanks~!

XD I keep my screen at an almost 90 degree angle to my desk, so I'm seeing them head on... ^^; I also think they look brighter to me too cuz I'm seeing them here against white, whereas they're against the soft green at DA. The white really makes the colors pop here.

You know what happens to me? Sometimes when I working with dark hair & I want to put the strand in, they tend to fade in like I want them, but when I look at it from a different angle, or someone else looks at it, it comes out looking all streaky & Medusa-like. XD It's an easy fix, but a pain in the arse one. XD

You're welcome! (I still need to color in your fem!Prussia lineart. XD)
