I wanna see someone stuff as many cliches as humanly possible into a romance fill between two or more of the nation-tans. Anything from high-school-setting to cooking scene to amnesia via dramatic accident to "it's not what it looks like!" kisses to pretending to date to make someone jealous to body switching to-
As you can see, the list is virtually endless~
My preferred pairings are UK/US, Russia/US, Lithuania/Poland and Spain/Romano, but the only pairings I'd rather not see are Russia/Lithuania and UK/Japan. Whether this is pure crack to lolsomely serious is all up to the writer!anon

“I guess this means you don’t want that McDon*ld burger that I got you…”
Immediately, Arthur’s jaw slackened. “Y-you got me a burger? But why…?”
“Because!” Sweeping his suddenly damp wet hair back from his face, Alfred leaned in. “I’m a hero. And because I noticed that you liked it a lot.”
Eyes shining with emotion, Arthur fixed his shirt nervously. “T-thank you Alfred. … Does this mean that we’re now…?”
“Yep, we’re pals now.” Winking attractively, Alfred offered his fist to the shorter teen. “Put one there, partn-- pal.”
Instead of pounding the fist back in a truly manly fashion, Arthur began to hyperventilate. “I… I don’t know. There’s so much to sort out; this is such a big step. I’m not sure if I’m ready for… for…”
And Arthur promptly fainted. Alfred, being the hero that he was, caught him just before he hit the ground, cradling him as lovingly as a best bud should. He swallowed, watching Arthur’s innocent, relaxed face with much emotion.
“My God Arthur… why didn’t you tell me that you were pregnant?!“Cor blimey

A/N - to clear something up for your reading pleasure, Diederik is supposed to be the name of the Netherlands since he doesn't have a real one and I was only using human names in this
In his own almost expert opinion, Mathew had been pretty damned lucky to go as long as he had.
He had probably been the luckiest person on the boat, except maybe for the navigational expert Vash, when it had come to avoiding the ridiculous drama that plagued their ship and it’s crew. It seemed everywhere anyone turned on the supposedly dreaded pirate ship Britannia there was drama and personal problems spilling out in uncontrollable torrents. It was beyond Mathew how anyone could really fear a group of men who cried so much. Even though they were admittedly manly tears of the most wholesome love or soul wrenching sorrow it still happened almost every other day. He couldn’t see fearing that.
It also amazed him that Captain Kirkland found any time to do actual plundering as he always seemed too busy once again delving into the deepest depths of his

Lovino, a tragically ill but still adorably spiky boy, was a wealthy aristocrat’s son who had bribed his way onto the boat. Normally it would have annoyed Mathew, who had gone through a lot of trouble to stow himself away, but Lovino’s motives were definitely in the right place. He had done it in order to avoid a rather disturbing marriage arrangement with his estranged half brother Feliciano. Lovino had explained it was in no way Feliciano’s idea, but instead Feliciano’s mother’s attempt to try bring Feliciano back into the family line, thus merging their fortunes without needing a messy divorce from Lovino’s mother. Unfortunately their Father had agreed with the idea in order to get his hands on more money

After a brief glance around the bar proved there were no immediate threats, Mathew lowered his hood, short blonde locks of hair spilling out at the action, “Yes.” He smiled tightly at the other man, “I think I no longer belong on the Britannia. Francis doesn’t need me, Captain Kirkland doesn’t need me and I’m only getting in my brother’s way.” Mathew shrugged nonchalantly even though the enormity of the decision was making his hands shake under the table, “I need to make it on my own. I’ll never do that if I stay on the Britannia. If I stay there I’ll always be ‘Francis’ assistant’ or ‘Alfred’s twin’. I can’t live like that forever

Hmmm... I really liked your ideas in this. That being said, this felt more like a summary than a fic, and I'd love to see some specific scenes you mentioned played out in more detail and with technicolor and surround sound actual dialogue (teehee feeding the Captain his food).
So maybe I'm just greedy here ok.
Also, this feels like it has excellent potential to go further. I hope you'll consider continuing it? (:

Random!Anon here would also like to second the notion for a continuation of this fic. You'd done such a lovely job with this, I'd love to read more about Matt's adventures (as well as what will happen to Britannia's crew given their current drama and all XD)
