Fire Emblem/Hetalia crossover.
Not as in FE characters meet APH characters, but a crossover as Ex: "America is the Paladin. Arthur is the Mage. Canada and Australia are the Red and Green Cavaliers. " ect ect
I'm not the only one to think of this, right?
(Optional Bonus: My OTP is Russia/Canada, so mention that and I will eternally love author!anon.)

The blubbering instantly had doubled in volume, and without any delay France had hoisted the man up and was ushering him away from the growing crowd. It wouldn’t do well for everyone to see him rob the little thing blind, that was just in bad taste and horribly unprofessional

Italy continued to rattle on about how horrible the situation was. France played the fool and soothed him. The bandits that camped in the east peaks where of no worry. Their numbers ranged fro 10 to 26 and even their leaders where hardly a match for anyone with enough sense to bring a weapon along. France was confident that America and Canada would be just fine, but he intended to make it seem much worse then it was

The realization that he was wide open to an attack brought Canada to quickly change his coarse in an attempt to dodge the rebound that was inevitably coming his way. But America had other plans; finished with his initial brawl, America’s broad sword came down mercilessly on the bandits back. The ruffian turned around in surprise, only to meet another swipe of the sword. The bandit stumbled, but raised his axe once more to attack

“You aren’t - dammit - helpful running into a nest of - rgh! - bandits on your own!!” half way through the statement Germany’s attention had been grabbed by another adversary. After missing the Germany’s first strike, the bandit had rebounded and struck him. Germany, in response, had swiftly disposed of the enemy, but the damage had been done and there was a large gash on his right thigh

Germany yelled from the bottom of the cliffs. There was little regard from the dark haired male, just a small turn of the head and a nod before Japan continued his assent. Japan was already almost there, it wouldn’t be long till Japan reached his sister. Germany hadn’t expected any more of a response and headed off the other way to guard Italy. It would be beneficial for Japan to creep up on the enemy as the other cavalier escaped with Taiwan. America was moving in to cover the other cavaliers decent, so with both the mercenary and myrmidon on the job Germany was sure that there wouldn’t be a bandit standing by the end of the battle

It was the girl that spoke next. “This is Germany, my brother up there finishing off those oafs is Japan, and I am Taiwan. Thank you for coming to my aid.” She spoke with an air of dignity, but it was obvious she was having to work at it. In fact she seemed more annoyed then anything else. Canada wondered if it was bad form to rescue a girl these days but quickly dismissed the idea s utter nonsense. Taiwan couldn’t possibly be angry with him. It was probably that she had to be saved by him - she looked the independent type - but it was most definitely not Canada she was angry with

“But if we leave here we might be able to find England. He could be looking for us out there and because we’re in the remote village he can’t find us.” America responded quickly

Information: France is the first 2nd tier unit you get, which means he will perform exceptionally well early on in the game. It is important to remember that all the exp he receives could be more useful for some of your weaker units. A good plan is to have him stealing items as soon as the opportunity arises. Stealing gives him a little exp, and its exp that can not be obtained by any other unit till you get your second thief in chapter 4. You may want to keep him in reserves to use later in the game when things get a little more difficult, because he can easily become your best thief. He’s also useful in the dark due to the added visibility he gives to the
