Fire Emblem/Hetalia crossover.
Not as in FE characters meet APH characters, but a crossover as Ex: "America is the Paladin. Arthur is the Mage. Canada and Australia are the Red and Green Cavaliers. " ect ect
I'm not the only one to think of this, right?
(Optional Bonus: My OTP is Russia/Canada, so mention that and I will eternally love author!anon.)

Prologue: No Home To Return To
“Please England!?! I know you said we’re too old, but it’s really cold out tonight! Me and Canada will-“
“Canada and I”
“Canada and I will freeze!” That was a bold face lie and America knew it. Canada almost never got cold - a rather irksome fact for America - but with both his and Canada’s pleading faces looking up at England, they knew there was a much better chance of getting away with this

America was the first to emerge from his room fully dressed, but he quickly returned to grab a few items of importance. When he resurfaced for the second time a small knapsack was tied at his waist and he held a huge sword in both hands as if he was hugging the item. Canada was already waiting for him at that point, dressed for the cold and water. A much thinner sword and scabbard was tied at the others waist and a larger bag was securely held to his back

This Writer!anon has plans of doing a whole game sequence, but she has never worked on a project this big. She is hoping that her joined obsessions with Fire Emblem and Hetalia will help. Thank you for the comment!

After the groups escape from the small island they settled in a small village off the coast. All of them hoped to meet up with England, but he never came. After a week of waiting they moved from the coastal village with heavy hearts. They didn’t go far, hoping to still meet up with England one day.
Four years time has passed since the incident. America and Canada have grown up strong and tall. The two are known as helpful young men, willing to do a number of odd jobs for the inhabitants of the small town.
They live comfortably. America picks up gold at the local arena, and France always comes back with large sums of money. The party has learned to live life simply, though the events of that night are still fresh in their minds…

It never ceased to amaze America how France could always win a match of keep away despite being shorter then both of the brothers.
“Your brains might still be soft and mushy but I very vividly remember what happened on this anniversary, and I well intend to forget it. Au revoir les enfantsWith a turn of his head and a wave of his head France was gone, the door softly closing after him. Silence hung in the air after his departure until Canada let out a sigh and his shoulders slumped
