Russia/Canada: Mental Recovery + Hurt/Comfort. Something leaves Canada completely mentally broken, and Russia decides to comfort and take care of Matthew to make him become functionally normal again.
Bonus points for Russia at first having no clue how to take care of somebody so traumatized, but eventually figuring it out.
Also, I would prefer stable, not sadistic!manipulative Russia in this fic. Although anon is free to make him struggle with dark impulses if they want.
I'm begging you guys for this. I've seen a few US/UK fics like this, and I want my OTP of it so badly.

OP here! Sorry for the slow response, I assumed you were going to post more and put off on it. But gaaah, I can't wait for the next part. This is pretty much exactly how I pictured it to be! I like how long they've been together already, and how it's been a long progress
:X i have a habit of posting when i'm at least a fair amount into the fic so i won't be empty when updating! with requests like this, the fear needs to be captured or else it's ruin the effect of the whole fic so i tend to write it in detail. x)
