I see it like this, Anon: Alfred gets off on pain, fear, humiliation, and degradation. He goes to someone he once defeated in war but is now on good terms with and has a lot of trust with, and asks them to dress in their old war uniform while administering the above, playing out a "what if" scenario in which he lost whatever the war was. Preferred partners would be Arthur or Kiku, but if you can make it work with someone else, go for it.
Hardcore, please! No scat, please, but anything else goes. Take it as far as you want, leave scars, whatever. All I ask is that it's obvious Alfred wants and loves it.
Bonus, option 1: the safe word is "surrender" Bonus, option 2 (would have to be someone Alfred trusts absolutely): there is no safe word

You have an amazing sort of psychology here. DOUBLE-PROPS...No TRIPLE! Keep going! I love that both characters are starting to unravel.
(It would be amazing to see Kiku bitch-slap Alfred out of habit during a meeting.)
This story genuinely reminds me alot of a play called "The Maids". The play is basically about these two servants, who, while their mistress is away, dress in her clothes and whip and degrade one another through fantasy role-play.

Author!anon is not familiar with that play, but definitely will check it out! I'm so happy you're enjoying the psychology of the characters and their relationship, because I'm as attracted to that aspect of BDSM as to the physical side. ♥ Thank you for reading!
As to your parenthetical, I have to say I don't think this particular Kiku would ever do such a thing, as he has a very clear boundaries between scening and the space outside of scenes...but you've given me a yearning for a story in which a D/s relationship gets inadvertently revealed when the Dom (maybe an inexperienced one), forgets for a moment and backhands his sub at a meeting. Wow. I really want that now!
