… This is the first time I’ve used human names. I feel slightly weird about it, but it became quickly apparent if I wanted some measure of reality, I’d have to ditch ‘em. Sigh.

“Quantum physics?” said Kiku, in the sort of tone someone used when trying to be polite about a grave mistake. It was the kind of tone Matthew had heard from Kiku quite a bit throughout their childhood.
“I know, I know.” He wasn’t going to explain himself. Absolutely not. “But it’s good to get some variety, eh?”
“Yes, I suppose. And Mr. Jones is an excellent teacher.”
“Sure.” Matthew kept his gaze lowered onto the book in his lap, trying to focus on names that weren’t quite so dangerous, or appealing. “He’s… different.”
“Perhaps it’s the mark of genius.” Kiku pursed his lips at Matthew’s syllabus and then set it neatly on their shared computer desk, correctly assuming that if it made it to Matthew’s side of the dorm room, it may never see daylight again. It wasn’t that Matthew was messy; absentminded, perhaps, was a better word for it. “I thought you enjoyed his class last year?”

The problem was purely physical, Matthew told himself.
He’d been infatuated before. There was Mr. Braginski’s younger sister, who was very sweet and had dropped in every so often to class to bring them chocolate chip bars. Granted, Matthew might’ve been more interested in her cooking than her bra size, but in theory they were connected. So this wasn’t new, per se…
Except that no, it was completely new, and he had no idea what he was doing. He just knew it was probably wrong.
Mr. Jones had a nice ass. Correction: Mr. Jones had an amazing ass, the kind that filled out his jeans to a scarily perfect precision. Moreover, the rest of Mr. Jones was just as attractive. Matthew could sketch the composition of his body for hours (the natural strength of his shoulders, the dip inward to his waist, every knuckle Mr. Jones has ever chewed on or bit in indecision, the curve of his ear). In truth I'm not a huge Matthew/Alfred fan but the premise drew me in and you did not disappoint I shall be stalking this fill hardcore now.

That line right there is a thing of pure beauty...and HOT. Are we talking toppy!Canada in this when it gets that far because I've got to say you deliver this awesome of a fic and a bottoming Alfred and I'll be eating out of your hand for life!
