This is my promise to return and fill this after I fill the current two stories on my queue. I hope someone else does a fill too but even if they do, I'm still planning to write this

Trying to preserve space for requests and fills, so I'm answering all three of you here. :)
Firstly, is any of you OP?
Anon 1: I'm glad you like it. I have a lot more in mind, but hopefully it won't be too much.
Anon 2: The concept is fascinating, how can someone resist exploring it? It's cool that you're doing some original fiction with it. I hope to read it sometime!
Anon 3: That's sort of the polar opposite of this concept while still being very similar... again, a fascinating notion.
I'm trying to keep up my posting schedule, which means I should be posting the rest of this fic around the first week of December *crosses fingers* If I get super inspired, it may come sooner.
Recaptcha: When overdoes (oh man, I overdo it all the time. Recaptcha knows me too well)
OP here - as if you couldn't tell from the title. I'd just like to say - I love what you're doing with the concept! Checked to see if anyone had commented on my idea this morning and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the fill! I love your interpretation of the concept; thank you so much for actually taking the time to work on this!
And no; I don't mind angst. Actually, I'm firmly of the school that states you have to break your favorite characters down before you can break them back up again. Still - I'm a sucker for a happy ending. Just make sure that they live - well, if not happily ever after, just make sure it turns out all right and I'll just go back to grinning giddily over the post.
Boy, are some people in for a surprise when/if they ever go up against the United State of Camerica/Amerada...

Sounds like you and me are on the same page, OP. I love to put my characters through hell, mostly because I think it often takes hardship to show the true nature of a person at their core. But I greatly prefer to end on at least a semi-happy note. I already have the ending for this in mind and it's not depressing, I promise. :)
I don't normally fill so quickly, but this one really grabbed me by the throat as soon as I saw it. You might find this an amusing story, but I'm American and my adoptive brother is Canadian. We were born 16 hours apart, and we've been told we act like twins - we talk in unison and we can have entire conversations without speaking out loud. We joke that we must have been separated at birth. And yet, even that is nothing compared to the closeness of these two in the story. I find it utterly compelling.

Perfection. This is it.

Ironically... I have a couple of OC characters I created for some original fiction of mine that are twins with this same sort of thing going on.

but anyway, this is fantastic and i eagerly await more!
