Matthew fidgeted slightly as they waited for dessert. The night had been going smoothly so far. They had seen a great movie, and the food at the restaurant Francis had suggested was fantastic. There was just one thing he had left to do, and it could make or break the entire evening

Not OP, but god do I love this. I love the beginning with Matthew holding out the X-Ray of the ring in Al's stomach as he proposes. I love the end with Poland as the wedding planner (and America in a dress FTW). Heck, I love everything about this. I can hardly wait to read more! Keep up the great work authoranon!

Three cups of coffee and a massive stack of better-than-crack pancakes later, the three nations were awake and calmly discussing the issue at hand: planning the wedding.
"I am NOT wearing some frilly, poofy, girly dress! I don't know if you noticed Feliks, but I am a MAN! Besides, we don't need a wedding planner! We're going to elope to Vegas!"
Yes, calmly. Wait a second. Did he just say...?
"I am not getting married by Elvis, Al." No way. They'd have to drag his dead body to the altar, and Matthew was fairly certain there were laws against marrying dead people, even in Las Vegas. "I'd kinda like to have an actual wedding with all our friends there, you know?"
"That's so totally lame! You can't get married in Vegas! That's like an insult to weddings!"
Matthew looked over at Feliks. He appreciated the support and the offer, but he wasn't entirely sure he'd want to leave something as important as planning their wedding in the nation's hands. He had said it himself earlier. It wasn't everyday nations got married. This was more than

It turned out that Alfred wanted to be very involved in planning the wedding.
Not that Matthew minded, of course. It was making Alfred happy to be planning their wedding with Feliks and Toris, and that in turn made Matthew happy. (Especially when that happiness carried into the bedroom at night.)
Besides, he had what he wanted: they were getting married at Niagara and Alfred was his bride. Sure, Alfred was denying it until his face turned blue, but that didn't change the fact that today he was out with his planners and bridesmaids dress shopping. The fact that Matthew had hinted he'd really like it if he wore the dress had nothing to do with it at all. Really. He would NEVER take advantage of Alfred's all-overwhelming desire to please him

I POST A COMMENT ON PART THREE AND THEN 3 SECONDS LATER. WHAT.
I love you.
This is great. Poor Arthur, being all nervous. I can see where this might freak him out more than a little. But my favorite part? Canada. You sneaky bastard. God, I love this story.

Pff. Don't you wish all fills could be like that? There are so many I would love to see more of on here.
I've been doing this all from Canada's POV so far, but I may start adding some Alfred chapters (for the wedding planning lulz - and that talk with Arthur), so I don't know yet if I'll get into Arthur's whole reaction to it. I tend to get introspective when I do that, and I'm trying to keep this a fairly light fic
Canada is a sneaky bastard. Someone's gotta call him on that one day.
