So apparently the Japanese nickname for the pairing of America and Ukraine is "Supersize Me". Give it a second and the reason's obvious.

So naturaly this goes into my head and comes out with this request:
America goes to McDonald's and is suprised to find Ukraine working there.

America bounced up to the counter, grinning in anticipation. Lunchtime, it was finally lunchtime! This was the only consolation to the whole meeting Eastern Europe; at least the city had a McDonald's. The prospect of his coming meal was the only thing which had kept the nation awake during the morning arguments.

He was so excited, in fact, that he didn't realize the cashier was someone he knew until he was standing right in front of her and taking a breath to order.

"I'll have a - U-Ukraine?" America nearly choked in shock, prompting the other nation to lean forward to assure herself he wasn't dying. "Why are you working here ( ... )

I didn't even think of America/Ukraine as a possible pairing, but this was so goshdarn cute! Of course, it could be because Ukraine is just goshdarn cute in general...but nonetheless, I now think I'd be more receptive to fics of this kind. :)

I'm glad I could convince you, even a little bit! America/Ukraine is super cute, in my opinion, although I agree that Ukraine is cute all on her own.

OP here! If you happen to hear someone squealing like an idiot that is me. This is so freaking cute! Asking her out over the counter like that was so smooth for America. I guess he knows what he's doing on his home turf (because any McDonald's anywhere is America's turf)!
