I don't know why, but I've had a thing for Rev!America for a very, VERY long time. I also love watching my country squirm in angst (I'm so patriotic to America XD). SO. Yes. Here's the request

Ah, I shouldn't love time travel fics as much as I do, yet still I continue to devour them~ |D
You really surprised me with this fill, anon! The first chapter was a bit cheesy with the angst and the second tugged a bit on my heartstrings BUT THEN THIS CHAPTER CAME ALONG. And it's made of awesome. I had to de-lurk for this.
akljghafd i-it's just - young!America is confused and a little intimated by this new place! But that's okay because the gadgets are interesting and proceeds to fanboy over them! He has to walk around in his uniform because modern!America is some kind of humanoid tank! Little old ladies help him instead of the other way around! My word, the women are actually showing their ankles! AND THEN SUDDENLY NEW YORK (IN WHAT I CAN ONLY ASSUME IS A CAB) OH GOD ILU

I admit. Looking back at this, it was corny, lol. I did not study the 18th century for the dialogue, -US!anon is ashamed- I just typed it. Anon is fail on formal speech. Benjamin Franklin's biography seemed pretty simple and straight forward when it came to talking. It actually sounds similar to the way we talk today, just slightly different

"New York," A young man's voice came from behind the two Americans. Alfred felt his chest violently jerk from surprise of the man's urgent tone. That accent

"A-me-ri-ca." His former guardian stretched out his name. "It's been awhile…" The green eyed nation examined his nails. This was his best way to start the conversation
