Canada/America, Operation Yellow Ribbon

This anon has been reading about Gander, in Newfoundland, Canada, and the role it played on September 11, taking in 39 flights that had been diverted after the attacks. Anons can make it as angsty/fluffy as they want, but what I'd really like to see is hurt/comfort, with America thanking Canada for his help and breaking down in front of him. Multiple fills are welcome, I don't care if you use human or Nation names. Please, anons. Make me cry.
