Things were not the same after Annie’s death. That was something painfully obvious to them all. Becca would cry, and when she was not crying she would scream and curse Alfred. She blamed him still. She would always blame him. And Alfred didn’t blame her. It was his fault, it was his sin to carry… Paul was more reserved then before, often just sitting besides Alfred in silence, the two staring off into space. Neither had bothered practicing ‘quick-draw’ since Annie’s death. If it hadn’t been for that, then she might have ( ... )

Aww, Vincent's an ok guy. I knew he had some likability in him. He's just had a rough life, I'm sure. *is such a Molly ><*

Al is a war veteran and a demi-god nation thing, so I can't see him getting too frightened by some punk wanting to kill him. It made sense to.

At fist I though Al had named his glasses Anton. XD It breaks my heart every time Al starts saying a nations human name, but switches to their real name because they're not friendly anymore. It makes it seem like he really is an orphan, losing everyone close to him. Bawww.

Glad you're considering the time skip.

Despite his insisting that the Trent situation was no big deal, all his friends were worrying. Alfred had become use to not being able to walk around town without someone by his side. It was starting to get frustrating, but he understood his friends concerns. To them, he was an 18 year old kid, when in retrospect he was by far older than that. And to top it all off, he was essentially a war veteran. Sure, he didn’t know what would happen in a western shoot out, but he had been shot at before during the wars. He had faced death, and he’d always come out of it perfectly fine. Of course… None of them knew that ( ... )

A quick jab to the arm drew his attention away from the mysterious carriage, and back to his friend. Paul was scowling. “I don’t get it, you cry over stubbin’ your toe-”

“That was once! And I stubbed it really hard ( ... )

“Pa-Paul Turner,” he stuttered, blushing more and more. Alfred laughed again, that earned him a sharp elbow to the gut. Paul, still pink, cleared his throat. “Anyways Al, like I was sayin’. You really should be worryin’, at least a bit ( ... )

Alfred stared ahead, hardly aware of Liz when she returned, or when the three had begun walking back to the inn, deciding that it was no longer safe to roam the streets. He could leave, a voice reasoned. He could go back to Philadelphia, or the capital. That would take care of the situation. But would the others be safe? What if Trent took it out on them? He couldn’t risk that ( ... )

He ignored Bill’s shout, rushing forward, sliding to a stop besides the fallen women. Paul was shouting her name in a panicked voice, but Molly wasn’t moving. Pain was etched across her face, blood seeping through her sleeve. She’d been shot ( ... )

The illusions vanished. Alfred was standing in the street, one gun still raised. Trent was across from him, holding a bleeding arm, some of his companions injured as well ( ... )

Out of all the people I expected, I did not expect Prussia.

And don't think I didn't see what you did thar. England is totally there.

GILBERT! ~<3<3<3 My love for you, can you feel it authoranon?

Your story is as wonderful as ever. I noticed how you used my veteran excuse as to why Al was not being a cry baby. Soldier!America is awesome and so canon. He started with war and continued the tradition for every following generation. Better get used to your soldier side Al. I'm sure Gilbert can help.

England might not be there, but it looks like the UK is in the house /o/
