I've just been rereading the series (The Dark is Rising is quite a good Christmas book really) and ahhh I'd never thought of this pairing before but YES

I haven't reread it in a while but I remember reading about Bran and Jane's interactions and one of them is when she was being attacked by the afanc and Bran sang to save her. And I think that was the moment when I thought, "hey, what if?"

I always wondered what could have happened to them after stopping the Dark and having their memories wiped.

Plus that scene where he gave her the stone and still called her Jenny. I thought his memories were changed but maybe some things can't be forgotten.

I just wish there were more fanfics about Jane Drew and Bran Davies.
