I almost had a summer this year. As an academic it's one of the perks we look forward to, and yet somehow I managed to commit myself to working just enough to spoil it. I have had enough time to sit around and get really neurotic about some things, but not had enough time to get much done about any of it. For example, we went to CO so I could see
