For sweetinaskirt

Oh, he loved being married to Daniela. Every day she seemed to grow that little more in confidence, in experience and into herself and he loved being there with her to see it. They were well rounded, he felt. They fought sometimes but they always made up, even if only to agree to disagree on things. Mutual respect, mutual attraction; they were matched better than he could have anticipated in those early days together.

They were even matched intimately. It made him feel a surge of pride - a manly sort, of course - to know he would be the only man she would share that side of herself with. To know that she was experiencing all of these things with him for the first time. Even if he'd ended up exhausted on his honeymoon trying to keep up with her released libido, he wouldn't have changed it for the world.

The current situation however, he would. Their shifts had seemingly been against them for a month. They had stolen moments together here and there but the intimacy in their relationship suffered. Everything from a cuddle together to sex; they simply didn't have the time, nor the energy when finally together, to do any of it.

He assumed that Jim had the schedules changed back after his constant whining to his friend about how he barely even saw his new wife anymore. And tonight, they were going to celebrate. They'd shared a wonderful meal and now were settled together, holding each other with a holomovie on.

But honestly. Leonard had no interest in the movie whatsoever. He just wanted to be with her.
