The frustration Leonard felt at being separated from his wife by their schedules was nothing in comparison to how Daniela felt. Here she was, finally his wife and no longer a virgin, and they couldn't find the time or energy to even have sex!

It was times like this that she was thankful Leonard was such good friends with the Captain. If they had had to continue working nearly opposite schedules, she might not have been able to take it.

But here they were, finally, watching a movie and cuddling. She set her head on his shoulder and smiled, completely contented.

"Good movie you picked, sweetie."

"Mmmm, yeah," he replied. He had absolutely no idea what the movie even was. All he was aware of, really, was how close she was and how he'd missed having her so close to him. He had an arm around her, his hand settled on her arm. And with her cuddling close, it meant that she was close enough for him to settle his free hand on her upper thigh, fingertips lightly inching back and forth over her skin.

Shivering at the feeling of his fingers on her skin, she turned towards him, resting her hand lightly against his chest. "I've missed you this past month, you know."

"I've missed you too, darlin'," he replied quietly. Her turning towards him meant that he had more of her to touch, meant that it was easier for him to inch his hand a little higher over her thigh. "A lot."
