I love Esperenza! She is adorable! And I'm glad that Logan is finally sitting down and talking to V. Those 2 need that!

Anyhow, I'm glad that you enjoyed this - and that Esperanza is entertaining you at least half as much as she's amusing me. I was telling Sarah that this is more "her sort" of chapter - more dialogue, less introspective angsting - and it really is.

I was wondering/thinking that I'd get to the big Why that you're wondering about, but ... yeah, Esperanza was just too adorable and her and Logan (and later her and Veronica and Logan) kinda hijacked the chapter. Plus, I didn't want to half-answer the question, so I figured I'd just save that for the next chapter. :)

Soooo much love for this right now! Seriously, wicked pumped when I saw this posted, and it did not disappoint. I absolutely ADORE Esperanza. And the dynamic between her and Logan is seriously SO cute! I wish I could actually just watch it, it's amazing. Always thought he'd be an amazing dad, despite the life he had on the show. And I understand that you're unsure of when the next chapter will be out, but none the less I am VERY excited to read more! Great update :)

I completely agree - Logan has so many qualities that would make him an excellent father. Honestly, I set up the dynamics of this fic in such a way to show that wonderful side of him. (and there's a few more revelations about how he came to be a dad still forthcoming - probably in the next chapter or two, if I had to guess??)

I've been feeling weirdly INSPIRED as of late (to write fic in general), and Sarah's birthday fic (SPN gen) is what I'm trying to finish first. But after that? ... Who knows where the muse will lead? I'd love to get a few more chapters of this done before the end of the year. :)

It's all upcoming, I promise! :) Next chapter will finally at least BEGIN to answer the big question - if it doesn't cover it entirely. (depends on how talky the pair gets, I suppose :)
