The rest of the day had been a surreal mix of day dream, fantasy and outright denial as he got washing going, changed beds, finished the fish lady's portrait and sat around thinking about what had happened, why it shouldn't have happened, shouldn't happen again and how badly he wanted it to.
He was so wrapped in his own thought that he didn't even hear the door until Peter called out to him. He peeked out of his room, slipping down towards the kitchen. "Yeah?"

Unpacking the containers, he had gotten deli sandwiches and salads. "If you're not hungry, I understand." He turned and tossed the smokes at Isaac.

He caught the smokes, face lighting up. "Thanks. I was nearly out." They were tossed back into his room carelessly as he came closer to investigate the food. And Peter, in a circumspect way.
