Zara nodded her head to the door as Peter came out. Despite the near freezing winds the setting sun had left behind, there was a figure silhouetted outside, leaning back against the window.
It was dumb, but Isaac didn't feel like he had any right to waiting in comfortable chairs out of the biting cold tonight So he waited outside.
"Trust me, if I kill himself it will be with an overdose or a razor, not hypothermia." Not that he had already thought about these things. "The warmth was cloying."
