Some guy with purple hair showed me to the apartments, where I guess I have a room already. No roommate, but I have to climb five flights of stairs to get in and out, which is kind of annoying. I should probably start trying to get to know the other people on my floor, at least

There's no point going to school here. It's not like we can remember what we've learned before we got here, and I doubt anyone back home would believe us about it regardless.

I started working as a stablehand even though I've never tried taking care of animals before. I'm just learning as I go, so I don't think you have to worry about that.

Well, that's fine for stuff like that, but what about harder jobs? Like, doctors and stuff. You can't just learn that as you go.

Actually, they have healers around here who seem to know what they're doing. I haven't actually seen them work, but they must know what to do since everyone here is healthy.

It still doesn't feel like it adds up, but I guess there's no point worrying about it if it all works somehow.

Many of us were formerly trained for a job. When our memories return, we're able to take up similar ones here.

And as noted, there is mandatory education for the villagers.

Yes, there is a school here. If you need something you can go there, it's open for everyone.

Some people educate themselves to work, but most just regain the memories they have lost or... work with the basic knowledge they have. We remember some things, actually.
