*cold* Stupid landlords. Ugh. It's freezing in here *pouts* But still I chug on through season five! Well, about that...

I have the reviews of SPN episodes eleven and twelve written, but I also have something of a dilemna. I don't want to say "I'm going on hiatus", because I need Supernatural/fanfiction/LJ to give me a break in between working. But ( Read more... )

Dissertations are important. Just think about it this way - Sam would be all, "You should study, you can have a life, goals, friends ..." and then stare moodily out of a window at the rain, and you don't want to make Sam stare moodily out of a window at the rain, do you? I thought not. :)

I just had my school finals this week so my deadlines for THAT are done, but I'm making 3 dresses over the break for 1) A fashion show 2) An anime convention and 3) A commission so I still have deadlines and I don't really get vacation. *sigh* But hey, at least one of those will get me paid. That's nice, right?! Hee.

GO DO SCHOOL THINGS. *shoos you out the door*

I'm working on several for our school fashion show, I have pics up of one of them here, and a video of the lights here. And I just finished a jacket and pants set for my final project that you can see here, but THIS week I am knocking off this dress -

Wow, I wish I could make stuff that sophisticated! My cloaks are just two big squares of material with arm-shapes cut out and a slot up the front to get into it by XD

I dream of a world without deadlines. But the dissertation is important and once done it is done and off your plate. Then it is time to play again.

If you get stuck just type. It is often easier to fix something than it is to create perfect in the first place. At least with writing. Even if you do something you hate it's still progress because then you know what you don't want which puts you ahead of where you where. At least that is what I tell myself.

We'll see you on the other side

I'm fine. You need to concentrate on your dissertation. No more distractions for you.

Take all the break you need - your dissertation is important :).

I've spent much of the last 3 weeks trying to help my youngest brother get his dissertation into a coherent state (it's due about the same time as yours I think), so I get the pressure :P.

No looming deadlines for me at the moment, but I had to suffer through 6 years of deadlines and 2 dissertations while at university, so I'm thankful for the lack of them now :P.

Having said that though, now my job involves standing up in front of crews of air force pilots and giving them briefings... sometimes in the middle of the night when I'm half asleep (last week I had to do briefings at 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.!), which is not good, since the pilots decide whether or not to fly based on what I tell them :P!

Anyway, good luck with your dissertation and assignment... just think, in a few weeks, you'll be finished completely... and I'm looking forward to reading your next reviews when you're able to post them :).

Ohh, I'm looking forward to a lack of deadlines. Just one more year, and then... and then... and then I'm hoping to get a job in editing or publishing. No deadlines there... *cough*. :D

Thanks for wishing me luck - and I hope your work goes well in the next couple of weeks too! (okay, obviously I don't want it to suddenly get crap after two weeks. But it sounds odd not to give it a time limit >.>)
