I really like del.icio.us. I still update the recs LJ, because that feels more official to me, but things were starting to fall through the cracks with my old way of doing things (which was basically, paste the links into a word doc, write the blurbs, and hope I didn't leave anything out, as I would end up with multiple versions of the list - home, work, parents' PC etc.).

So I use it mostly for my own organizational purposes, rather than for sharing, but I know other people do use it - er, my list there, i mean. It's here: http://del.icio.us/victoria.p

I do basically the same thing, only my master document is on my personal home PC, so the only transferring is when I do stuff from work, which gets put into a draft e-mail or private LJ entry. I don't so much have stuff fall through the cracks as suck at actually comng up with blurbs and feedbacking.

In a recent book I checked out I found a post card of Athens that had never been written on.

Once I found an advertisement from the turn of the century tucked into an ancient book in the uni library. I so kept it, too. LOL
