interesting thing about the loss of the eye, Odin, in norse myths gave up his eye so he could be all seeing. just a thought

The Cyclops of Greek Mythology also gave up an eye for the ability to see the future but they didn't pay attention to the details of their agreement and the only future day they actually saw was the day of their death.

Hmmm... In digging that fact up from the back of my head I'm reminded of another quote:In the land of the blind, the one-eyed
man is king.
And the bringers are blind, no? Not that this really means anything other than I have a free association going on in my head but....
