Hello! Saw you on grad-students ... or something grad-school related. I am not a psych. person, I'm actually History. I just finished the process of applying to graduate schools and will be starting at the University of Vermont on Monday *yikes*
Thought I'd add you because I'm interested to see how you enjoy your sr. year and the application process. If you have any questions - feel free to ask (not that I'm an expert - but just from someone who just finished the process). Good luck!

I am very interested in reading about your educational journey in psychology. I completed three semesters in a PhD psychology program, but I had to withdraw to care for my ailing mother-in-law. I miss being a student more than you can ever imagine, so reading your journal will help me keep in touch with my own dream.
My journal is not particularly interesting, but I hope you will friend me so that I can keep up with your exciting journey.
I've always been drawn to your posts/comments on various grad school communities (applyingtograd, academics_anon, etc.), and I'm trying to make this journal one where I chronicle my application (and hopefully acceptance) process. Occasionally I'll post a friends-locked entry with my SoP or such, so I'd appreciate any comments!
Best of luck applying to grad school. I am in grad school and can only offer advice from my side, but I'm happy to share my thoughts if you would like to run your ideas by someone.
Not sure if I'm applying to Austin yet. I emailed Stice because at the time it wasn't clear when he'd be back (now I know for sure he's still not taking students). There's another pretty good match for me there, but I'm taking time to think about whether I want to email her or not.
As you may have figured out by now, Eric Stice won't be taking any more students (I will be happy to give you the lowdown via email, both for Stice and for any of the other faculty). Let me know. :)
When I emailed him his page said he wouldn't take students from 200something to 2006, so emailed to make sure. There is one other professor in my area, I'd love the lowdown on Allison Chase? hermionephd @ gmail.com (email will be a much better place to discuss such matters, indeed!)
