I LOVE me a good Post-epilogue story, and this was perfect. It had plot, and intrigue, and snark, and Draco not being watered down, and Hermione not being perfect. And Harry being big-brotherly. Simply wonderful. *claps*

Awe... I'm glad you liked it. I was a bit concerned that the romance was getting swept away in all the plot.

Oh no, it totally didn't. Rather it all just felt more genuine. I think that it all really worked well together. :-D

Great fic! Realistic and plausible, AND rather scary, to think that children were behind it! Well, teenagers. And aside from the plot being great (the whole thing about the heroes being assassinated) there was also that extra bit about torture- how Draco approved of it, suggested it, and then his plan turned around and bit him in the bum. It's like a lesson that torture is baaaad. Well done! :D

Also liked the closeness between Rose and Scorpius, and how Draco and Hermione's friendship and feelings for each other developed. And oh, Hermione was so brilliant, Summoning the plans after the explosion. :)

And the art at the end was lovely!!! :)

You really did an awesome job, portraying the expressions of the characters. The picture of Scorpius and Rose is wonderful! :)

Thank you so much for giving it a read... i'm slowly making my ways towards yours too!

Yeah... i didn't want the issue of torture to be completely black or white, and yet I definitely didn't want the idea that it's okay to come through... so I'm glad that part worked out :)

Oh, wonderful story :)
I liked very much how past and present were tangled and the way you show us the development of the relationship between Draco and Hermione. The plot was brilliant (and a bit scary, too), and while my inner-romantic-side would have loved to see more romance bit between Draco and Hermione, I think you've ended this fic in just the right moment.

The fanarts at the end are really stunning, too!

So, thanks for these great works :)

Oh, I'm glad you enjoyed it... i've been thinking since it was posted that I probably should add an epilogue that is pure draco/hermione romance... maybe at rose/scorpius wedding... :)

Excellent fic! I liked it a lot. As someone else commented, Draco was not 'watered-down' which is always a good thing to see in a Dramione fic, and not always easy to manage. I especially like their exchange when Hermione was blaming herself for Ron's death.

I'm not sure we ever got a real explanation of Burke-the-Unspeakable's actions. I got the impression that he wasn't part of the assassination project. Did he just go power-crazy, hoping to be the one to solve the crime? Was Liam manipulating him somehow? It's never really said unless I missed something.

Other than that minor confusion, I really did enjoy your fic. The romance aspect was well done and progressed very believably.

The art is gorgeous, and there's so much of it! Wow. Inspired_Ideas really outdid themselves, and Mystkyten's is absolutely beautiful.

Excellent job, all of you :)

I had many of those same questions about Burke too.

Okay... this is what was going on in my mind... although I definitely need to work it into the last chapter somehow...

I was thinking that Liam Burke set up Scorpius with the letter after Ethan Flint got taken into Custody, Burke senior took Scorpius a few other pure bloods and Liam with him to where the unspeakables were... and when Liams plot started to unravel, Burke takes Liam and Scorpius off... hoping that his 'interrogation' will prove Scorpius is guilty and save his son, but that when he realizes that Liam is guilty/scorpius innocent... he brings them both back to the Ministry to turn his son in...

I did a pretty good job of speculating this - it was a bit of what I was suspecting.
