I seriously enjoyed this!

I loved how you wove so many realistic political issues into the story while not letting either the issues nor the relationships unbalance each other.

The art was a fabulous compliment to a well crafted tale.

I was really worried that the entire torture/hunting down assassins plot line was overwhelming the romance of the story... glad you thought it was balanced :)

I have to tell you, I read this on my iPhone today at lunch but hadn't made it back over here to tell you how awesome I thought it was!! The premise was brilliant, and you managed to pull it off flawlessly! I really loved how you wrote both Hermione and Draco - they were both still so them but both clearly affected by the losses/events of their lives.

Fabulous story, hon!!! ♥

Ah... thanks so much for giving it a read. I really had concerns if the story was going to fit together and whether or not the romantic aspect made sense given the real lack of opportunity to write any sexual scenes for them... Glad you thought it ended up working out okay :)

I have often thought that one of the purposes of fiction is to hold a mirror up to real life, in which people can sometimes see more clearly the issues that they face every day, and recognize ramifications of those issues that escape them in the ordinary world. So, I liked that you took the issue of torture being justified by extreme need and twisted it to show the perp3trators of the crimes as children, and the people in favor of torture finding their own children at risk of being subjected to torture, regardless of their true guilt or innocence.

On top of that, you had a realistically developed relationship between Hermione and Draco, that evolved into a very believable romance. Great marks all around.

The art was incredible, really capturing, in another medium, the scenes you had described.

So, jobs very, very well done, everyone. Thanks for an entertaining story and for the beautiful accompanying art.

Ah thanks! I did want to make the entire issue of torture as NOT okay, but at least understandable... but with consequences... significant, unintended, and BAD consequences. Glad you liked that part. And I'm glad the relationship part didn't get underminded by the investigation...

Thank you so much. Draco didn't turn out quite the way I wanted but I had a lot of fun illustrating this story.

I loved this! I have mixed feelings about the ending, but the plot was astounding! The heroes being assassinated sounds so plausible and it made for a great mystery story (a genre I like very much indeed).
Sad as it is, I really enjoy reading Hermione post-Ron's death :)
Thank you so much!!!

I really liked the movement from their behavior as Hogwarts govs to tenative friends, to working together, to the widow Weasley turning him right on. The progression felt real to me. And the art! Ou lalala! So many pretties. Thank you all!
