That is an awesome .gif. I wish my state had one, but we never do anything to earn one.
I watched because I've been developing into a spectator-sport geek over the past two years. I missed the snow-angel thing, sadly. You should care right now because you don't know when it'll happen again---the Rams got one Super Bowl when I was ten, and that's when my father imparted that kernel of wisdom to me. ;)
It's from The West Wing! The lady with the red hair is the Congresswoman Andrea Wyatt from Maryland and my personal hero, and in that scene she'd just won re-election to another term, so everyone's toasting "Maryland!" Andy Wyatt <3
Eh, I probably still won't care. *laughs* But I do remember one of the football players from the Ravens said some pretty cool stuff about gay marriage, so I'm happy for him.
Ah, yes, I think you embedded that on your journal once. She seemed pretty awesome!
Haha, I was raise by a sports fanatic (my mother), so we just care about everything. You should see us during major tennis tournaments ("It's Nadal vs. Federer!" "What a cliche!" "MURRAY!" "It's all about Djokovic!"). Aw, that's awesome (and kind of the opposite of what you'd expect).
