I am just so ready to be done with this stuff already.

We started in August. We're not done until the middle of December. That's just wrong.

(Can you tell I'm used to quarters?)

There are things the semester system is fantastic for, no doubt. Preserving my patience and sanity is not one of them, however.

Thanksgiving is next week! After that, it'll be over before we know it! Thank G-d.

I was okay with fall semester. We had a day off in October, Thanksgiving, and then it was done. Spring, though-- oh, that long slow slog to spring break in March, and there was nothing to be done about it. I need a break in February.

Humanities seminars. You get to actually cover things in depth. For everything else... slog.
